Scientific Name:	*Citrus microcarpa*
Description:	Calamansi Lime or Limau Kesturi are medium-sized shrub, sometimes a small tree, able to grow up to 3 - 4 m tall. It produces simple leaves, elliptic-shaped and aromatic, measuring about 3 - 7 cm long. The leaves are in dark-green on the top surface and light to pale green underneath. Be mindful that when harvesting the leaves or fruits as there are sparsely spiny along the stems. Calamansi lime produces white to whitish-pink fragrant flowers, can be axillary or terminal, in 5-petaled, each petal measuring about 1 - 1.5 cm long. The flowers then grow to small and rounded fruits, turning from green to light orange when becoming ripe.

Light:	Full sun, partial sun.
Water:	Check regularly and water as needed. Water thoroughly when the soil turns slightly dry to touch. Always discard excess water. Allow soil to dry out slightly before watering.
Fertilizer:	Fertilize with all-purpose fertilizer at least once a month to encourage growth and flowering.
Trimming:	Gently trim away dry, brown, or yellowish leaves by using a pair of secateurs. Trimming allows available nutrients in the soil to be transferred into the new leaves which encourage intentional growth. Also, trimming allows your plants to retain in a good shape and keep pests, fungal and diseases away.
