Description: |
Malpighia
coccigera, commonly called miniature holly or Singapore holly, is a small
low-growing, evergreen shrub that widely cultivated as an ornamental in
tropical and subtropical gardens. The
plant has compact, prickly, holly-like leaves and can be grown as a dwarf
hedge. It
is very tolerant of trimming. It
has small shiny-green leaves that have spiny-toothed edges, produce sporadic
white flowers throughout the year. Whole
plant especially roots of Malpighia are boiled/ decocted for at least 3 hours
for general detoxification and remove toxins from liver. |

allows available nutrients in the soil to be transferred into the new leaves
which encourage intentional growth. |
