Scientific Name:	*Duranta japonica*
Description:	Duranta is a fast-growing, low-maintenance shrub that can be planted in the ground or in containers. Although it grows best in full sun, it is tolerant of semi-shade. Duranta species produces attractive purple flowers continuously throughout the year.

Light:	Full sun to partial sun
Water:	Check the soil dryness regularly and water as needed. Water thoroughly when the soil turns slightly dry to touch. Allow the water to drain out from the bottom of the pot. Never let the soil dry out completely.
Fertilizer:	Feed with Growth and flowering fertilizer at least once a month.
Trimming:	Prune off any dried/brown leaves, flowers, or stems so that the available nutrients can be utilized for new growth.
