Scientific Name:	*Licuala grandis, Pritchardia grandis*
Description:	Licuala grandis or Fan Palm is a slow-growing palm that grow up to 6-8ft tall. It has very distinctive pleated and undivided leaves with notched tips. The shiny dark green foliage is rounded that spread to about 50cm or more. Licuala grandis is a perfect indoor plant as a natural humidifier by removing carbon monoxide and replacing the air with fresh oxygen.

Light:	Bright indirect sunlight, partial shade. Avoid direct sunlight. Direct sunlight will turn the leaves brown.
Water:	Check regularly and water as needed. Water thoroughly when the potting medium turns slightly dry to touch.
Fertilizer:	Feed with foliage fertilizer once a month to provide essential nutrients for plant growth.
Trimming:	Gently trim away dry, brown, or yellowish leaves by using a pair of secateurs. Trimming allows available nutrients in the soil to be transferred into the new leaves which encourage intentional growth. Also, trimming allows your plants to retain in a good shape and keep pests, fungal and diseases away.
