Nephrolepis exaltata v. Bostoniensis

Description:

Boston ferns are one of the best air purifiers plant which remove more formaldehyde than any other plants.

They are also highly efficient at removing other indoor air pollutants, such as benzene and xylene - components of gasoline exhaust that can migrate indoors if you have an attached garage.

These plants look great in standard and hanging planters and are generally easy to care for.

Prefer low light area, you may need to water them or mist their leaves daily depending on the humidity and moisture levels in your home.

Water:

Check regularly and water as needed. Never let the soil dry out completely.

Fertilizer:

Feed with regular fertilizer once a month to encourage new growth and flowering.

Trimming:

Gently trim away dry, brown, or yellowish leaves by using a pair of secateurs.

Trimming allows available nutrients in the soil to be transferred into the new leaves which encourage intentional growth.

Also, trimming allows your plants to retain in a good shape and keep pests, fungal and diseases away.
