Description: |
Begonia amphioxus is a rare tropical
plants originated from Borneo. The species epithet 'amphioxus' refers to the shape of the leaf,
which is pointy on both ends, and elongated with serrated edges. The butterfly nickname comes from its beautiful, crimson red markings
on the vivid olive-green foliage resembling butterfly wings. |
