Scientific Name:	*Stromanthe sanguinea ‘Triostar’*
Description:	Stomanthe sanguinea 'Tricolor' is a spectacular tropical herbaceous plant from the Marantaceae family. The leaves of Stomanthe have irregular variegations in cream, pink, and green on the upper surface and are either a solid pink to burgundy or maroon on the lower surface. Stromanthe is a rhizomatous perennial that can be grown in shady spots of your house or garden.

Light:	Bright indirect light indoors, partial shade outdoors. Avoid direct sunlight as this will damage the leaves of Calathea.
Water:	Check regularly and water as needed. Water thoroughly when the soil turns slightly dry to touch. Never let the soil dry out completely.
Fertilizer:	Feed with diluted liquid fertilizer once or twice a month.
Trimming:	Gently trim away dry, brown, or yellowish leaves by using a pair of secateurs. Trimming allows available nutrients in the soil to be transferred into the new leaves which encourage intentional growth. Also, trimming allows your plants to retain in a good shape and keep pests, fungal and diseases away.
