Scientific Name:	*Schefflera arboricola*
Description:	The elongated leaves of the Schefflera plant have seven small leaves which look like an umbrella. Thus its nickname, the Umbrella Tree. Their leaves are palmately compound, each leaf containing 7-9 leaflets, obovate-oblong to elliptic in shape. Schefflera is easy to care ornamental foliage plant that acts as a natural air freshener and detoxifier.

Light:	Full sun to partial-sun
Water:	Check regularly and water as needed. Never let the soil dry out completely.
Fertilizer:	Feed with growth and flowering fertilizer at least once a month to encourage blooming.
Trimming:	Gently trim away dry, brown, or yellowish leaves by using a pair of secateurs. Trimming allows available nutrients in the soil to be transferred into the new leaves which encourage intentional growth. Also, trimming allows your plants to retain in a good shape and keep pests, fungal and diseases away.
