This variety is suitable for all growing periods in the tropic.
Early and productive, has good vigour with a sturdy, open and upright plant habit.
Fruit is very long and slender, 30cm in length, dark purple skin with white flesh, purple green calyx, very fine quality.
Heat and wetness tolerant, resistant to many diseases.
Hint: To grow in containers, plant one seed per ø30 cm pot.
Harvest: For best quality, harvest before its glossy skin begins fading to dull purple. To determine ripeness, just remember that skin colour and tone (glossy versus dull) is more important than size of the fruit.
