Mint Mentha, Spearmint, Pudina (Mentha spicata L.)

Growth habit and size

Mint is a Perennial herb produced from a creeping rhizome with an upright growth habit.

Foliage, flower color, and texture

Leaves light green and ovate to lanceolate with deep veins and serrate leaf margin. Rubbing the leaves releases a lemon-smelling fragrance.

Produces small white or purple flowers encircle the floral stalk near the tip and are arranged in a spike inflorescence.
