Scientific Name:	*Centella asiatica or Hydrocotyle asiatica*
Description:	Centella asiatica, or commonly known as Gotu Kola, Indian Pennywort, Asiatic pennywort, is a perennial herb with creeping growth habit. Entire plant can be used, for both internal and external. The plant has been used in traditional Indian medicine for various pathological disorders, healing of wounds, burns and leprosis. The Chinese use it to improve the appetite, as an aid to digestion and to treat sores and ulcers. The leaves of the plant are also use in cosmetic products for the treatment of venous and skin disorder.

Light:	Full sun or partial sun
Water:	Require regular watering. Make sure to water thoroughly when the soil turns slightly dry to touch. Always discard excess water.
Fertilizer:	Fertilize with all-purpose fertilizer at least once a month to encourage growth.
Trimming:	Gently trim away dry, brown, or yellowish leaves by using a pair of secateurs. Trimming allows available nutrients in the soil to be transferred into the new leaves which encourage intentional growth. Also, trimming allows your plants to retain in a good shape and keep pests, fungal and diseases away.
