Scientific Name:	*Cuphea hyssopifolia*
Description:	Cuphea also known as False Heather, Hawaiian Heather is an erect to spreading, low-branching, compact subshrub with finely-textured leaves. It is covered with small, purple-coloured flowers throughout the year. It requires ample moisture to become established in full sun or semi-shade. Prefers well-drained fertile soils with frequent light fertilization. Can be prune back lightly after a flower flush, to promote a bushy shape. Excellent for front border of landscaping design as ground cover, or planting in a small flower beds.

Water:	Check regularly and water as needed. Never let the soil dry out completely.
